We’re officially one week away from showtime, and the Survivor Series: WarGames card is shaping up to be a must-see spectacle. Here’s how it stands so far:
WarGames Match #1:
OG Bloodline (Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Sami Zayn, and CM Punk)
vs.
New Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa, Jacob Fatu, and Bronson Reed)
The long-awaited reunion of the OG Bloodline is finally happening, thanks to Roman Reigns pulling off the impossible. After Solo Sikoa added Bronson Reed to his squad, many speculated Seth Rollins might join forces with his former Shield teammate. However, those old wounds are still too raw. Instead, Paul Heyman made a shocking return to bring CM Punk into the fold, upping the stakes for this massive clash inside the WarGames cage.
WarGames Match #2:
Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, Naomi, Iyo Sky, and Bayley
vs.
Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton, and Candice LeRae
The women’s division has been chaos across both brands, with dominant heel champions running rampant. Now, a team of babyfaces has rallied to challenge them, including Rhea Ripley, who makes her big return from injury just in time to step into WarGames. Jade Cargill was initially part of the team but had to step down due to injury, with Bayley stepping in as a last-minute addition.
World Heavyweight Championship Match:
GUNTHER (c) vs. Damian Priest
Damian Priest finally gets his shot at redemption, earning this rematch after his SummerSlam loss. A victory in a grueling Fatal 4-Way has solidified him as the top contender, and now he’s ready to challenge GUNTHER for the gold.
With WarGames matches taking up significant runtime, the Survivor Series card has traditionally capped at five matches. That means there’s likely room for two more bouts, potentially including a United States Championship defense by LA Knight against Shinsuke Nakamura.
